Directions Cut out flower shapes from the fabric: petals, leaves, stems, and buds. An adult can do the cutting of shapes if the child is too young. If you have a group of children or family who would like to do this project together, use a roll of butcher paper instead of the poster board, and give each artist a place on the butcher paper to create their section of the group garden. Glue the shapes onto the poster board to make individual flowers, imaginary flora, a flower garden, or field of flowers. Try creating flower people or fairies, drawing a face where the center of a flower would be. Stems can resemble dancing legs, and leaves can turn into arms.
