Here are four reasons why moms are real-life superheroes.

Moms have super stamina!

Even the Energizer Bunny is no match for mom. Each day she’s up before everyone else. She gets ready for work, gets her kids up, dressed, fed and off to school. After a full day of work, calls, meetings, and appointments it’s a rush to get home to take the kids to practice and activities.

Moms have super multitasking powers!

As any child instinctively knows, moms can do anything. It’s in the job description. They’re just as comfortable playing catch with their sons as they are dressing up for high tea with their daughters. Old enough to ride a bike or learn to drive ? Mom’s right there. She’s the first one to volunteer to chaperon a school field trip. And she makes a mean cup of hot chocolate after a day of playing in the snow. Moms are quick to offer a shoulder to cry on after a first breakup. But she’s guaranteed to shed tears of joy on your wedding day.

Moms have iron-clad immune systems!

Ever notice that when one family member gets sick everyone does? Thank your lucky stars for mom. They do it all: doctor visits, presription pickups, flat soda and chicken noodle soup feasts, vomit cleanup, and more. And when she eventually becomes rundown and sick after days of nursing her little ones? Mom pulls up her big girl pants and presses on.

Moms give super support!

Children will test their mother’s patience pretty much as soon as they’re out of the womb. Sleepless nights to toddler tantrums. Too-cool-to-be-seen-with-mom as a preteen to dating the neighborhood bad boy in high school. Parenting takes its toll on a mom; bags under the eyes, throat hoarse from arguing, and an army of gray hairs. But despite it all, moms are their kiddo’s biggest fans. That’s one of the many traits that makes her a mom. In what ways is your mom, or the other moms you know, a real life wonder woman? Feel free to share in the comments below.
