July 4th is the birth date of the United States of America, and people celebrate in a variety of ways—going to the beach, getting a barbecue going, seeing family, and shooting off the fireworks, while stores celebrate with discounts. Most deals drop mid- to late-June, so you can expect lots of sales through the end of the month.

They usually continue through the week of the 4th of July, and since this year it’s on a Sunday, you can expect that whole week—the 4th through the 9th—to have deals.
What’s on Sale for the Fourth of July?
The best products to shop for during 4th of July Sales are fairly wide-ranging, but you can expect big deals on everything to do with the summer and outdoors, including furniture, bedding, and electronics.
Electronics
The Outdoors
You can expect huge deals for the outdoors. Lowe’s, for example, will have deals on products from brands like Weber and Char-Broil smokers and grills, patio sets, outdoor décor, and tools and outdoor power equipment from top brands like EGO, Craftsman, and Honda. So if you’ve been holding off that patio project, it’ll soon be the time to start it. Be sure to also check out sales at Walmart especially, who always goes deep on discounts for the outdoors.
Bedding
From weighted blankets to new sheets, the 4th is a stellar time to shop. Buffy, for example, will have its Hemp Collection for the first time as part of the sale. And if you’re looking to switch up your mattress, check out individual retailer’s sites. In years past, for example, Tempur-Pedic had $500 off any size Tempur-Breeze mattress and $200 off any Ergo Extend adjustable base, plus $100 off any Ergo adjustable base. Casper will also have deals on its products, as will Leesa, Saatva, and more.
Furniture
Furniture is another big category where brands have deep discounts on July 4th. In the past, ABC Carpet & Home has had 30 percent off on all furniture. Expect deals at West Elm, Pottery Barn, and especially Ikea, who always have a “Summer Sale” that goes from late June to early July. Burrow will likely have a July 4th sale that’s similar to last year’s, and that includes up to $500 off of purchases $4,000 and up. Below are some of the best deals we’ve found.
